Nothing but lovely places you would prefer to live instead of here but cannot. The number of entries are overwhelming but not exhaustive. Where are the Cities of the Red Night? Where is the Crystalpunk Cathay? What happens to virtual cities when they go to ruins??

Iain Sinclair is Englands foremost psychogeographer and this book is his best attempt at explaining how the psychogeographic organism of London operates on the human mind. Writing is a kind of reading and Sinclair can read London like no other. This book is executed with a style most other writers would die for.
